Electroluminescent Wire For Disc Golf Baskets

We modify standard EL wire units to make them work better for lighting disc golf baskets or other types of disc golf targets. We start with an EL unit which has a battery holder with a switch, an 11 inch non-glowing lead wire, and 2 feet of thin flexible wire that glows when the unit is turned on. We add foam padding around the battery holder to protect it. We also install the glowing wire portion inside a section of coiled plastic tubing. The coil section wraps nicely around the basket pole and the EL wire inside the coil is protected from impacts. 2 AAA batteries (batteries not included) will power the unit for approximately 20 hours in the continuous mode and 40 hours in the flash mode. We also sell the un-modified units themselves. These nine colors are available: BlueGreen, UltraMarine (Blue), Yellow, Green, LimeGreen, Red, Pink, Orange, and Purple.
